As flower walls are becoming more and more popular and the demand grows, there are more places to buy – and we say that’s fine by us! Everyone has a different style, product and price point, so we wanted to explain what makes us different, as we are sure you know every person has a different idea of what is “expensive”.

We really enjoy creating flower walls and regarding our prices, we get new enquiries telling us we are expensive, or they can find it cheaper elsewhere – often before we have even shown them a photo of what we will make or the flower types sometimes! We love it when clients are open and honest about their budget as we will do our best to provide a quote for the flower wall that gets you the best quality for your money.

We find that some customers commonly base the value of a backdrop merely on the raw materials and a belief that everything in China is cheap (which anything of quality definitely isn’t!). But so much more goes into producing lasting floral backdrops. Each creation produced represents hours of preparation and work before and during, including many sleepless nights spent in education to learn the floral and wedding craft, as well as finding the right suppliers, colours, factories, and other costs that make our backdrops so special.

Made with love, built to last

We custom design and colour a lot of our own flowers, why? Because we aren’t 100% satisfied with what’s on offer here in China. A lot of the flowers we see aren’t right for the international market and just aren’t quick enough to keep up with current trends.

We know there are local companies selling floral backdrops on big e-commerce sites in China, but we don’t put ourselves in the same category as them. We love being a boutique business! We are happy not to be large factory with a large workforce working long hours. We also spend many hours of the day looking at silk flowers and floral backdrops and can see instantly where our product shines verses others – there is something for everyone budget wise, but our style of flower wall is designed to be robust, easy to put up and store and more importantly can be used over and over.

We can also spend up to weeks up a time tweaking samples and designs for clients, making sure they 100% get the wall of their dreams. We keep up to date with current wedding and event trends as well as attending workshops and training sessions overseas to make sure we aren’t just a mass producing factory with no love or care.

Recently we had an enquiry where the brief was a simple “pale pink hydrangea” wall, but the time scale to produce it was very short. At the time we were currently creating a wall for a 5* hotel, so we would have needed to rearrange staff and time to ensure we could create it in the short window. When we provided an initial quote, without even discussing the quality and size of the hydrangea, we were told we were 25% more expensive than anyone else, but we hadn’t actually shown what would be the final product at that stage. We know there are so many types of hydrangea, and we don’t use the “standard” typed available on Chinese e-commerce sites, as we know the colour runs and the quality is so-so…we’ve been there and done that trust us!
