Here at The Flower Wall Company, we know that in Asia flower walls have been a key element of weddings for many years, yes, even before Kimye and Dior popularized them! We sold our first flower wall in 2013 after creating them for our partner wedding planning company Highlife Asia Weddings.

Easy to store – The flower walls come in panels of 40cm x 60cm, meaning storage is super easy, you can simply lay them flat on top of each other.

Easy to transport – Whilst one of our walls in it’s boxes wont fit into a Mini, you don’t need a large truck or van to transport it either! A larger sized vehicle can easily accommodate two people, the wall and the frame. Anyone with experience in going to Ikea will easily be able to make it work!

High Quality Flowers – With three years experience in the fabric and silk flower market in China, we KNOW quality flowers! The flowers we use are robust, life life and wont fade in colour any time soon. We wouldn’t send any flowers overseas that we wouldn’t use ourselves.

Ivory, white and soft peach leafy flower wall

Today at The Flower Wall Company we will be creating an ivory, white and soft peach leafy flower wall for an amazing client in NSW, Australia.

When chatting with clients about what their vision is for their flower wall, it's always helpful to get a picture! It doesn't have to be of a flower wall, or even flowers, but any colour scheme, theme or idea to help us understand what it is you're looking for is always a big help!

We had this picture sent to us by the client (from one of their own photo box rentals!)

Such a beautiful wall – fresh flowers and the green leaves, we love it! But it can only be used once, so we are here to help!

We created a mock up panel with the sample flowers and foliage we have in our workshop, and came up with this:

Yes, these are faux flowers!

We weren't entirely happy as we knew we had different leaves and flowers in our warehouse, so we worked with the client to agree that we would add in different leaves, and some other flowers such as peonies and dahlias.

Like with all our flower walls, they come in panels of 40cm x 60cm that you easily connect together with clips (which we provide), meaning transport, put up and take down is efficient, and as we all know, time is money!

As you can see, they're not the average flowers you see in faux flower walls (believe us we've seen a lot!) these are higher quality flowers that have a much more realistic look, and more importantly, are more durable than the better value flowers we've seen on other walls. One of the pluses of us being in China is that everything is made here, so we have access to thousands of flowers that can be hard to come by for people overseas, or who don't want to order in large bulks from Alibaba!

The final flower wall will be 1.8m wide and 2m tall, but of course as it all comes panels, you can make them into any measurements you liked – even 9m wide by 40cm tall if you wanted too! (What amazing table runners that would make….)

White Flower Wall and Floral Archway for a UK Wedding Planner

Recently we sent our biggest flower wall yet – a whopping 3m tall and 6m wide (that’s around 10ft by 20ft) ivory and white backdrop made from thousands of hydrangea and three species of roses. What’s great about a wall that size, aside from the complete WOW factor, is that you don’t have to have it in one big wall. What’s great about our flower walls is that they are in panels, so if you wanted sections of flower walls on stage or one behind the head table and one for a photo backdrop, it can be constructed into smaller parts. The possibilities are endless!

Along with the floral backdrop we sent an archway made of the same flowers – with the frame included. When it comes to backdrops, we don’t send the support structure as it’s too heavy to ship for a good price versus what planners and event specialists can buy/rent back home, but with the archway, the light structure comes in six easy to put together pieces.

At 2.4m wide and the same height, you can even drive some cars through it! (We know this from first hand experience of a wedding we created here in Shanghai)

The archway definitely adds a touch of glamour for any wedding or event, we’ve used it to frame ballroom doors, at the beginning/end of aisles and run ways, and at the alter as well.
