We know buying off the internet can be tricky when it comes to colour – the camera being used, screen resolution/settings, lighting, and even us can make it difficult to know if you’re seeing the real colour.

We try to show our walls in natural light, but we often get asked, especially for our cream walls, not to use too much ‘yellow’ cream in it, which we try out best to do, but it’s also worth thinking about the lighting.

Take these four images below – these are all of the exact same flower wall, our Cream Luxe which is a mix of cream hydrangea and roses.

 

 

 

The colour difference isn’t all down to filters added in post photography, it’s all about the lighting. The first image is a glorious summers day so the wall becomes more yellow in the natural light of the sun, all the way down to the last image which is a professional photo shoot where white lights were used. If you want your wall to look warmer, simply add pink toned lights (as the third pic) or if you want it as it, use yellow lights.

Lighting completely change the look of any wedding or event, and it’s no different for your flower wall. If you need help with lighting, speak to the venue or the production company who will be able to point you in the right direction!

Knowing when your sale flower wall will be dispatched couldn’t be easier! We have grouped the dates into two time frames depending on when you paid.

 

Orders placed between 1st December and 15th December will be dispatch before January 31st. 

Orders placed between 16th December and 6th January will dispatched before February 29th.

We are expecting a high volume of orders and each flower wall is still made to order by hand by our professional team here in Shanghai. We aren’t a large factory with heavy machinery or thousands of unskilled workers, but a dedicated company who wont compramise a the quality of a wall for speed.

We also have Chinese New Year at the beginning of February where the country pretty much grinds to a halt! It’s like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and bank holidays all rolled into one for a very, very long two week period. We will have a skeleton staff during this time but can continue to create walls – just not dispatch them!
